What do you need to make oat milk?

Make oat milk with cheesecloth

You can get started with a blender, cheesecloth and a good dose of patience...

If you choose this option, mix the water with the oats in a blender. Then you grab a large pan over which you hang the cheesecloth. You pour the oat mix into the cheesecloth and then use a ladle to slowly let the moisture drip through the cheesecloth or squeeze out the cheesecloth with your hands again and again until the entire oat mix has been sieved. This takes about 25 minutes.

A disadvantage of this method is that you cannot properly determine the thickness and creaminess of the milk or adjust it quickly. It's a time-consuming job, so you're probably less likely to make fresh milk for yourself and your family on a regular basis. In addition, this way causes unnecessary chaos in your kitchen.

Honestly: the time investment is huge and it remains to be seen every time whether the milk is exactly what you want it to be.

There is a new way of making oat milk - simple and fast, pure and healthy!

Instead of a cheesecloth and blender, you can also opt for a smart oat milk maker like MULSI so you can make all your own oat milk (or any other plant-based milk) within 1 minute!
