    RECIPE

We start by making your fresh almond milk.

    STEP 1
First, soak your almonds in water for 4 - 8 hours. Raw almonds contain antinutrients such as phytic acid, which can block the absorption of minerals such as iron, zinc, and calcium in your body. By soaking the almonds, you break down some of this phytic acid and make the nuts easier to digest. In addition, soaking also gives your almond milk a softer texture and taste.

    STEP 2
Rinse the soaked almonds and add them to the sieve of your MULSI along with a pinch of salt and fill the basin with water.

    STEP 3
Blend the almonds with a hand blender in your MULSI into a delicious almond milk.

    STEP 4
Use the MULSI press to not lose a drop of your almond milk. Stir gently through the sieve so that all the pulp becomes increasingly dry. Then use the press to press the almond pulp as dry as possible.

    STEP 5
Pour the almond milk into a glass bottle and put it in your fridge. Keep about 250 ml of almond milk left in the SILO. Now add all the other ingredients to the silo and use your hand blender again to mix everything.

Alternatively, pour 250 ml of almond milk into a blender and mix all other ingredients in the blender.

Made in less than a minute, just the way you want it. Without the unnecessary additions.

    Why a green smoothie?

Green smoothies are a simple and quick way to get more (leafy) vegetables more often — without really tasting it. And it's even tastier and healthier if you make it with your own plant-based milk. Wondering what these ingredients are good for? Green leafy vegetables help detoxify your liver, which often leads to cleaner skin. Add healthy fats (such as almonds or avocado) and you'll nourish your skin from within. Whether you're a breakfast person or not — a green smoothie is a light but filling option that won't overload your system. You can even prep it for busy mornings.
